West Ham joint-chairman David Gold passes away aged 86
West Ham United have confirmed that joint -chairman David Gold has passed away. Gold took charge of the Irons alongside David Sullivan in 2010 after acquiring an initial 50% share in the club. He notably helped oversee the move from Upton Park to the London Stadium in 2016. West Ham confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that Gold has passed away following a short battle with illness.
