Erik ten Hag is eyeing up another reunion with one of his former Ajax stars, according to a report , with striker Brian Brobbey the latest name to be linked with a switch to Manchester United. United moved to Carrington, built on former farmland near the M60 ring road in 2002 after legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson had grown concerned by a lack of privacy at The Cliff, the club's previous primary training base since the 1930s and still used for some youth operations. The likes of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have developed better elite training facilities in more recent years. But it's not as straightforward as just adding to or redeveloping the Carrington site in order to become a world leader once more. It is thought that United occupy around 85 acres at Carrington, with a report from the Daily Mail noting that 100 acres of build able land is seen as the minimum to meet demands now. The Boston Celtics have made a move, albeit a minor one. The team is trading reserve center Noah Vonleh and cash considerations to the San Antonio Spurs, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The Spurs plan to waive Vonleh as well as veteran Gorgui Dieng, per the report . The move is simply a cost-cutting one for the Celtics, as they're not receiving any players in return. By trading Vonleh they open up a roster spot ahead of the trade deadline, and it will also save them on their luxury-tax bill. Vonleh's contract was set to become fully guaranteed on Saturday, Jan. 7, so the Celtics had to act before that date.  Vonleh wasn't a major part of Boston's rotation this season.
