Chelsea agree mutual termination with Graham Potter

Graham Potter has been relieve of his duties by Chelsea after a disastrous 2-0 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa.

The Chelsea boss has signed a long-term deal at the club in September, signing a five-year deal to replace Thomas Tuchel at the helm.

Since then, however, things haven't exactly gone to plan for the ex-Brighton boss. Having lost 10 Games in the Premier League already this season, the Blues sit in 11th in the table.

Due to this, the club have now confirmed the decision to let Potter leave: "Chelsea FC has announced that Graham Potter has departed the club. Graham has agreed to collaborate with the Club to facilitate a smooth transition.

"In his time with the club, Graham has taken us to the quarter final of the Champions League, where we will face Real Madrid. Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future."
