NFL Jets vs Giants Same Game Parlay picks at +914 odds

The battle of New York was one that held a lot more weight prior to the start of the 2023 season, but this is still a very important game for both teams. The Giants are on the very fringes of playoff contention in a weak NFC after knocking off the Commanders last week at home, while the Jets have found themselves in the midst of what has become an extremely tight AFC playoff race.

Here is my Jets vs Giants Same Game Parlay for the festivities, which kick off at 1:00 pm ET on CBS. You can also read our Jets vs Giants predictions on the side and total, but for now, let’s get into our Same Game Parlay for this matchup.

Under 36.5 (-110)

Darren Waller to score a touchdown (+260)

Same Game Parlay odds: 914

One of the tricks to the Same Game Parlay trade is that you can boost your odds by not correlating all of the results. That is the entire plan here, as Darren Waller scoring a touchdown does not necessarily correlate with the under, especially one with a total this low. Nonetheless, I like the value we’re getting with these odds so let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Under 36.5 (-110)

There isn’t much that we’ve been able to gleam for either of these offenses this season, particularly in the case of the Jets, who have struggled with Zach Wilson under center since Aaron Rodgers was injured in Week 1. Since that point, Game totals involving the Jets have been consistently priced in the upper 30s and low 40s and New York has been just fine in going under, cashing under tickets in 4 of its 6 Games this season. On the other side, the Giants offensive line is still a mess and the G-Men are still working through their run-dominant offense with Saquon Barkley back in the fold after missing time due to injury. I’m expecting this Game to play out somewhere in the low to mid 30s, so let’s hold our breath and back a gross under at MetLife Stadium.

Darren Waller to score a touchdown (+290)

We didn’t see much of Darren Waller in the early portion of the season for New York, but that makes sense given that the Giants were trailing by large margins in those Games pretty consistently. That has now changed over the course of the last month, as Waller has racked up a combined 20 receptions for over 200 yards and a touchdown since the Game on October 8 against the Dolphins.

As a whole, the Giants passing Game has actually been better with Tyrod Taylor under center over the last few weeks, and what really sold me on this leg of our Same Game Parlay was actually watching how Taylor consistently targeted (and found) Waller against the Commanders last week. The tight end is a matchup problem for most defenses and I can certainly see Taylor turning to his new security blanket throughout the Game, as the nasty Jets front seven will force Taylor to get the ball out quickly from the start. If the Giants can find their way into the red zone once or twice, it’s hard not to find value on Waller at nearly 3/1 odds here.
